Budget for Transplanting (Spading)

Transplanting (spading) is expensive (the cost averages two to three times our retail tree price or the total price of our trees). There are environmental, equipment, labor, transportation, fuel and travel factors service providers include in their planning their estimates.
We ask our customers to bear in mind tree spading is intended to dig dirt and clay. Tree transplant service providers have no control over large rocks, boulders that obstruct the spade blades. Spade blades are intended for digging composites of dirt, clay and sand. Sometimes the ground is unpredictable; thus, our questionnaire about the type of soil at the customer's site. Customers are responsible for providing their site soil type at the dig site; this is vital information to tree transplant service providers to prepare their estimates. Tree transplant service providers estimate jobs on 'hood digging' conditions (surface).
When forming their budget, customers should include those costs and be ready to work hand-in-hand with service providers about their estimates.
Our in-ground ready to spade tree price does not include tree spading, basketing and wrapping (when necessary for safe transportation), transplanting and site reclamation - Tree Customers can choose our pre-screened or their contractors to arrange spading (basketing, wrapping at the contractor's discretion), transplanting and site reclamation, direct charge by contractors to our Tree Customer (read "Tree Farm Contracted Services")
